Where is your camp located on the Nushagak and how many other commercial camps are in close proximity?

AKSA answer:

We are located on the lower Nushagak about six miles from tidewater; almost all of the Kings we catch are less than a day from the ocean. Our camp is situated in the center of a twelve mile stretch that has only one other camp in it. That means we can fish all by ourselves whenever we want to and crowds are much less likely in our section of river! Be careful, many of the camps on the Nushagak are clustered together on the same sections of river and boat traffic as well as fishing pressure can be higher in these areas.

What is the quality of your fishing equipment?

AKSA answer:

All of our guide boats are heavy duty custom Alumawelds that are set up for supreme comfort and stable fishability, outfitted with four stroke outboards for maximum reliability. G.Loomis rods and Shimano reels are standard along with the finest tackle money can buy. Be careful, many of the camps on the Nushagak fish anglers in small unstable johnboats that make it hard to even stand up to fight a fish. Remember you will be spending 8-10 hours per day in the boat! Comfort and safety should be your first concern when choosing which camp is right for you.

What sets your actual camp apart from the other camps on the Nushagak?

AKSA answer:

First class amenities are what set our camp apart from the rest!
-Heated and carpeted tents, (It can get chilly in the evenings!).
-All tents are on sturdy wood platforms, (No gravel or dirt floors here!).
-Private showers and flush toilets, (We won't even get into this one!).
-Fish are expertly filleted, portioned, vacuum sealed and frozen!

Is my charter flight from Dillingham to/from your camp included in the price?

AKSA answer:

Yes, the charter flight is included, there no hidden charges or fees once you get to camp. We even furnish your Alaska fishing license and King Salmon stamp. Wax travel boxes for your fish are also included at no extra charge!
